Vocation Pub Tour | Alma Inn

When we were counting down to being able to get back to the pub the Alma Inn was one of the pubs that kept coming up on our list of first places to visit and have a pint.

Looking out over the valley, the Alma is the perfect place to visit on a sunny day and grab a table for drinks and food. The photography of the pub really does not do its location justice.

Since we went into lockdown, the team at the Alma have worked tirelessly to improve their outdoor space and have created a festival-like outdoor area with a vast marquee, decorated with chandeliers and long benches for table bookings, and down overlooking the valley is a sweeping canopy with its very own bar serving a range of beers, including Bread & Butter on keg, and Grill serving a range of food. If a grill isn't your thing, they also have Toasties On't Hill, the perfect accompaniment for beers!

We've worked with the Alma for a long time, and they've always served an outstanding pint. Sully heads up the team and keeps pints flowing and the kitchen running. Whether it's a pint of Heart & Soul or Hebden Lager on keg, or a finely served cask of Bread & Butter you're after, the Alma have you covered.

It's a firm favourite of the Vocation team and many locals. Don't miss it and book yourself a table to grab a Bread & Butter.

Cheers to the Alma!
