BOTTLES ARE BACK, and they're Barrel Aged
We've been busy working away behind the scenes on a very special project and we can now finally share it with you.
A couple of months ago we took on a new unit up on our brewery site to become the cold store for our ever-growing Barrel Ageing project. We currently have over 400 barrels, with approx. 12 different varieties, including bourbon, cognac, and various types of wines & single malts.
Alongside the cold store, we have a new bottling line, a proper throwback to the start of Vocation. Those who have followed us since the beginning will remember when we used to bottle our beers - back before we got a canning line and it was just a team of 3 and Henry, the brewery dog.
We've gone back to our roots with the first run on the new line, and even left a little nod to our original line with the original Vocation crest on the cap.
A special occasion like this deserved a big bold beer. Full of flavour and specially selected from the barrel store.
There was only one beer it could be...18-month barrel aged Imperial Kirsch. This is our first ever brew of Imperial Kirsch that was stored away for an occasion such as this. Aged in Cognac barrels, this beer is Imperial Kirsch on steroids. Expect amped up decadence, super rich and silky smooth - this is a beer for the season. Complex and full of flavours, this is one to savour.
