Once upon a time in early January... in a brewery on top of a hill, the Vocation brew team assembled to start brewing our first special release beer for 2019...
Over the course of 2019 we are dropping 12 special release beers in can and very exclusive kegs.
All 12 of these vary massively in style with some completely new recipes and challenges for us.
These will only available from independents.

Plum & Vanilla Dubbel 8%
Brewed with dark candi sugar in classic Belgian style, Seeing Dubbel is fermented on fresh plums and aged with Madagascan vanilla, adding complexity to an already beguiling brew. Rich caramel and burnt sugar blend seamlessly with notes of fresh plum and a teasing hint of vanilla.

Imperial Nut Brown 9%
Smooth, rich and rounded, distinct notes of sweet caramel compete with amped-up and earthy English hops. This Nut Brown Ale is our hard-hitting twist on a British classic that doesn’t pull any punches.

DIPA with Valencia and Blood orange 8.1%
We’ve double downed on flavour for this double dry-hopped IPA, brewed with orange, Amarillo and Azacca hops for a sweet citrusy vibe. A DIPA that’ll make you double take.

Double IPA 8.5%
Brace yourself for this multi-faceted IPA. Its juicy body and fruity profile of peaches and citrus are delivered by Galaxy and Simcoe hops, whilst Columbus hops bring a dank and resinous aroma. Don’t be fooled by its juicy taste, this double IPA bites back.

Japanese Rice Lager 6.5%
Fruity, fresh and inspired by the land of the rising sun.
This lager is brewed with rice for a clean, crisp and refreshing body then steeped with grapefruit-like Yuzu for a zesty finish.

Elderflower & Honey Saison 7%
Like hazy summer days, a true saison doesn’t need to be complicated. Clean, dry and delicately refreshing, we infused this floral brew with honey and elderflower for a taste that’s sweet like summer.

Sour IPA 6.5%
Just like a plunge on a hot summer's day, diving into this lip-smacking sour is one way to cool off. With a citrus tang delivered by El Dorado, Lemondrop and Citra hops, our kettle-soured brew has a bold invigorating juiciness. Ways to beat the heat: sit back, crack a cold one and don't forget your swimsuit.

Southern Hemisphere IPA 6.7%
Settling the biggest rivalry south of the equator, we’ve brought together New Zealand’s bitter Nelson Sauvin and Australia’s juicy Enigma & Galaxy hops for a thump of fruity flavour that’s quickly forgiven. Expect lip-smacking juiciness with a bitter edge, together a mouthful of trouble.

This ale's past is as murky as it tastes. Tales of poison-peddling 'beer witches' and bubbling cauldrons hide a much darker history of jealous brewers and alewives with an unfortunate choice in headwear. Did you see John Hickling dancing with the devil?

Tingle your tastebuds with this tantalisingly tangy tongue twister. We've added deliciously sour raspberry during fermentation to give our Berliner Weisse layers of mouthwatering fruity refreshment and lip-smacking tartness.
