Vocation Brewery is looking for an experienced Senior Communications and PR Executive to help bring attention and exposure to our ongoing story, purpose, and activity during our continued growth as a brand.

If you can talk about beer with enthusiasm and creative flair, have a track record for increasing brand awareness and exposure in FMCG or consumer goods, and can deliver impactful communication across multiple channels and touchpoints, then we would love to bring your talent into our growing Brand & Marketing team.

 

What’s the job?

You’ll be supporting all external and internal communications - working alongside our Marketing Manager to plan and manage Vocation’s brand, product, and marketing activity through earned media and audience advocacy. Through our proprietary channels, you’ll ensure clear and consistent communication of the brand and our activity with the support a Social Media Assistant and a team of venue Social Media Ambassadors. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to strategise, schedule, and execute a communication strategy for Vocation’s brand, products, and marketing activities.

     

  • Identify exciting and innovative ways to bring mainstream, national attention to the Vocation brand.

     

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on performance of comms. Develop comprehensive reports on key campaigns and initiatives.

     

  • Manage and distribute information across multiple internal channels, between teams and departments within Vocation Brewery and Vocation & Co Venues.

     

  • Identify and manage relationships with journalists, brand ambassadors, and advocates for the Vocation brand.

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience in a similar communication or PR role, internal or agency-side.

     

  • A proven track record of earned media coverage in consumer publications.

     

  • An enviable contacts list of journalists, influencers, and thought-leaders.

     

  • An eye for spotting a potential stories and hitch-points onto topical events.

     

  • Experience designing and executing PR and comms campaigns.

     

  • A flair for creative writing and copy that jumps off the page and screen.
