Logistic Co-ordinator & Planner

Vocation Brewery is looking for an experienced and ambitious Logistics Co-ordinator & Planner to help drive the business in efficiency.

As a business with frequent stock movements and constant production, the right candidate will be able to ensure smooth deliveries, movements, and stock management. All while maintaining effective communication amongst the production and logistics departments.


Responsibilities

  • Calling off board and cans from suppliers in time with production, ensuing flow of stock from supplier to warehouse to brewery effectively
  • Calculating what stock needs to be brought up to the brewery for production
  • Deciding and organising what stock needs to go to which 3PL sites based on orders and production
  • Liaising with hauliers to book collections and deliveries, organising movement of stock between brewery and warehouse sites
  • Reviewing available storage space at the brewery to ensure limited space is maximised.
  • Preparing reports and data for production meetings.
  • Preparing OTIF reports
  • Claiming damages and delay fines back to hauliers
  • Cross checking invoices
  • Covering for supermarket customer services

 

Requirements

  • Logistics experience is preferable; however, we will look at any candidate with a strong background in administration.
  • Have an excellent eye for detail.
  • Strong communicator – you will be liaising with several departments, so it is key that the right candidate is an effective communicator.
  • Ability to drive is preferable due to the location of the brewery & potential driving between the brewery and warehouse site.
  • Flexible and reactive to changes in production
