What a year it's been...
Well, who expected that from 2020?! An unforgettable year, and one that we know has been incredibly tough for a great many people.
It’s been a difficult year for us at Vocation too, but thanks to the wonderful support of our customers and the huge efforts put in by our fantastic team, we’ve managed to keep the show on the road.
We were bowled over by your support and cannot thank you all enough. The orders we received on our web shop this year have been a godsend, and we are so thrilled by the unwavering support from those in the UK and further afield. Despite it all, we’re choosing to focus on the positives and look forward into 2021 knowing we will all be together again.
2020 brought us a lot of highlights, as well as throwing a few spanners in the works. Highlights included; more new tanks, new team members, returning team members, a new canning line, new customers, existing customers, The Barrel Aged and Single Hop Series, 35 new beers, a new head office, a new warehouse and a hell of a lot of Vocation beer being drunk all over the world!
With pubs having been closed, we’ve really been making the most of our new canning line. This year our brewery and packaging teams have gone above and beyond to keep putting beer out and into as many of your fridges as possible. The teams have been joined by a few new faces and have been relentless is ensuring the highest quality is maintained, despite having more than doubled this year alone. We’re now brewing 6/7 times a day, 6 days a week.
Down at the warehouse and within head office the team has also grown. With the lockdown this year, we even now have a 2 person packaging team, totally dedicated to getting your online orders packed and sent out to you as quickly as possible.
Of course, we’re massively missing beer festivals, tap takeovers, trips away, proper collaboration days, heading to the pub and going out for a meal… But when we get back to them they will be all the more sweet.
