Vocation Pub Tour | KØBENHAVN

Over the last few weeks, Kobenhavn in Halifax has been the place to be. With the biggest outdoor seating area I’ve seen throughout lockdown, this Scandi style craft beer bar has tables spanning the majority of the Westgate Arcade in Halifax town centre and it’s been doing a roaring trade. Now we're edging ever closer to being able to get back inside the pub, Kobenhavn is about to get even better!

There are 24 beers on tap and 6 hand-pulled ales, bringing more choice to the discerning beer drinkers of Halifax. Sour beers, fruit beers and lagers can be found amongst the array of pale ales and IPAs.

Kobenhavn opened in 2019 and is the sister bar of the award-winning Victorian Craft Beer Cafe (VCBC) which can be found opposite the Victoria Theatre. VCBC was part of the original craft scene in Halifax and helped to crown Halifax with the title of Shoreditch of The North.

The team at Kobenhavn and VCBC have been big supporters of Vocation from the start, so you'll often find one of us in there having a pint - or three. There's always a Vocation beer to be found on tap or cask, usually Bread & Butter, Hop, Skip & Juice, or Life & Death along with a few of our special releases.

They're not currently taking any bookings, but you can usually find a spot for a drink or two and a pork pie.

Find out more about Kobenhavn on their website. We'll see you there for a beer!
