Introducing Our 2026 NPD Beers: Full Roast & Altar’d State
We’re kicking off 2026 with two exciting new beers that showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of our brewers. And here’s the best part, you can get your hands on them a week before they hit the webshop! Just head down to any of our Vocation bars and be among the first to try them.
Full Roast - Coffee Porter
A cosy, indulgent porter perfect for winter evenings. Full Roast layers roasted walnut, rich chocolate, and fresh coffee to create a smooth, balanced beer that’s as comforting as it is complex. Soft cocoa and toffee sweetness round out the profile, while cold-brewed Yorkshire coffee adds depth and natural walnut brings a gentle praline warmth.

“This robust porter is crafted for easy drinking during the colder months, yet delivers a complex, full flavour. A strong malt bill, featuring Chocolate Wheat and brown malt, provides deep nutty roast and chocolate notes. Fuggles hops add a subtle spice, while cold-steeping on dark roast coffee beans infuses nutty, berry characteristics. The natural walnut flavour harmonises everything, creating a praline-like richness balanced by a strong hit of black coffee on the nose.”

Altar’d State - Belgian IPA
Bright, golden, and full of life, Altar’d State is a Belgian-inspired IPA with a crisp Vienna and biscuity malt backbone. Bursting with orange, grapefruit, and tropical fruit flavours from Amarillo, Pacifica, and Mosaic hops, it’s lightly spiced with subtle hints of pear. Dry, refreshing, and easy to drink, this beer keeps the hops in the spotlight while paying homage to classic Belgian styles.
Inside the brewers’ minds: “Altar’d State combines expressive Belgian yeast with a modern hop trio. The yeast brings notes of banana, pear, soft bubblegum and a peppery clove spice that dries the finish. Amarillo gives pithy orange and grapefruit, Pacifica adds marmalade and honeyed spice, and Mosaic layers in mango, tropical fruit, and a touch of berry-citrus. The result is a crisp, easy-drinking IPA where Belgian yeast meets vibrant US and NZ hops: fruity, lightly spicy, and refreshingly dry, a perfect blend of classic Belgian inspiration and modern Vocation-style hops.”
