Our double mashed Earl Grey Imperial Stout was brewed with a combination of six malts and muscovado sugars, then boiled for an extended period to enhance caramelization. Once transferred into red wine barrels it was then left to rest for 22 months. In the final stage of the process bergamot and tea leaves were added to help bring all of the flavours together.
Layered between each sip you'll find notes of caramel, sarsaparilla, oak and tart red berries. The gentle sweetness of this stout is complimented by a refreshing clean acidity on the finish.
