Product Recall Notice: Lower Altitude 330ml Multipack

As a precautionary measure, we have recalled Vocation Brewery Lower Altitude Table Beer 330ml cans sold in 4-pack multipacks through Tesco stores.

The beer inside the cans is safe to drink, however our testing has found that an extremely small number of cans may be prone to secondary-fermentation in-can, exasperated by the low-ABV nature of the product and the extreme heat recently experienced.

Additional CO2 created by this secondary-fermentation can cause the beer to become overly fizzy, and in some cases compromise the structure of the can.

Assuring the quality and consistency standards across all of our beers is of utmost priority at Vocation Brewery, therefore cans that may be affected were removed from sale as soon as the issue was identified.

Customers with any unopened cans of Lower Altitude purchased in 4-pack multipacks from Tesco are advised to dispose of them in a sink, being careful of any overflow when opening.

We have supplied Tesco with information to alert shoppers to the relevant products. Anyone who has purchased a Lower Altitude should return the emptied cans to the store where they bought it from for a full refund. No receipt required.

Please be assured that Lower Altitude is safe for consumption, and this isn’t a cause for concern for any customers who have already consumed and enjoyed Lower Altitude.
